Men’s Hair Transplant

We consider both the extent of hair loss and the direction of existing hair to develop an individual transplant plan.

Procedure at a glance

  1. The current hairline and areas of hair loss guide the transplant plan.

How the hair loss is progressing, the thickness and direction of existing hair, and how much can be harvested from the back of the scalp are reviewed together. When several areas are a concern, such as the hairline and the crown, this is also when we decide which to address first.

  2. The required follicular units are extracted individually from the back of the scalp.

The range that can be harvested safely is assessed first, before the amount needed is considered. A 0.8–1.0 mm punch removes each follicular unit together with the surrounding tissue, and whether to shave is decided in consultation based on the graft count and your plans for returning to daily life.

  3. Follicular units are placed to follow the direction and angle of existing hair.

Follicular units that grow two or three hairs together are moved intact rather than split. Slits and implanters are combined depending on the area and hair condition, and the doctor places the grafts personally so the flow and distribution continue naturally.

We start with the natural direction of your hair.

We assess the extent of hair loss and the donor area before planning the area and direction of transplantation.

Men’s Hair Transplant

Hair transplantation is performed using Moh’s FUE System, developed by Dr. Moh Jae-seong.

This technique builds on thousands of hair transplant procedures using strip harvesting (FUT), FUE, and ARTAS robotic systems, together with the precision of a plastic surgery specialist.
